Folk music and dance classes in our school.

I think our educational complex has a lot of features including folk music and dance. Each time in our school we learn different musics and dances. Also every morning in our school we have general training. During this time we sing Armenian national songs, dance Armenian and ethnographic dances. For example — “Nare”, “Sasna Shoror” and etc. Besides it in our educational complex we have many folk music groups and dance classes. For example — “Akner Folk ensemble”, “Sebastaciner” and etc. Our students as they wish must choose one of the groups and learn folk songs and dances, discover the whole culture and get acquainted with the musical instruments. Every Friday we have MediaFriday. Before that day when our students will have speeches, they learn the necessary folk music and dance, then they will participate in this speech. I think it’s very good that in our educational complex we learn a lot of Armenian songs and dances, because by this you begin discover the whole Armenian culture. The dance which I like is «Alashkerti Qochari». It was one of the first dances I learned at out school and I love it because it gives me joy.
